Our Founder

Abigail Adu, Founder of GracePoint Health Connections

GracePoint Health Connections Ltd was founded by Abigail Adu, a compassionate leader with extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in diverse healthcare settings — including acute care, community nursing, travel nursing, and care coordination.

During her nursing practice, Abigail witnessed firsthand the impact of staffing shortages on patient outcomes and healthcare professional satisfaction. These experiences sparked a vision: to create an agency that bridges the gap with integrity, empathy, and excellence.

Abigail also completed specialized coursework in gerontology during her nursing degree, deepening her understanding of the unique needs of older adults. Most of her healthcare career has centered around providing care to the geriatric population, further reinforcing her commitment to serving Continuing Care communities with insight and compassion.

Though she no longer practices as an RN while staying home to care for her children, she maintains her membership in the non-practicing class of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), where she was originally licensed.

Note: Abigail's non-practicing status reflects her personal decision to pause active nursing while raising her children and relocating to Alberta.

Her nursing journey continues to shape GracePoint's mission — merging passion with competency to serve Continuing Care facilities with purpose and precision.
